My favourite series by one of my favourite authors， Erin's books were the ones that hooked me on paranormal cosy mysteries。 It all started with the intriguing Spells and Caramels with its GBBO like baking competition with added magic: Imogen doesn't realise she has magical powers until she unwittingly enters the competition on the same night that she burns her apartment block down。The series have individual stories and mysteries that Imogen and her friends try to solve but the thing that makes i My favourite series by one of my favourite authors， Erin's books were the ones that hooked me on paranormal cosy mysteries。 It all started with the intriguing Spells and Caramels with its GBBO like baking competition with added magic: Imogen doesn't realise she has magical powers until she unwittingly enters the competition on the same night that she burns her apartment block down。The series have individual stories and mysteries that Imogen and her friends try to solve but the thing that makes it special is that there is a continuous storyline through the books with Imogen discovering more about her family and how she came to be adopted。 The fabulous characters include Iggy the snarky baking fire， the wonderful Maple who becomes Imogen's best friend （apart from Iggy）， the wily Horace who on first meeting is completely evil till he redeems himself later in the series， then spoils it all again。 I have all the books individually but couldn't resist buying the complete box set for easier binge reading！ 。。。more

This series is so unique that you will be transported to an amazing world。 You will find characters that you will love and not want to leave。 The author has weaved such great world， characters that will have you have keep turning pages，so much fun to have to be had。I am not telling you to much about books， as I not to ruin it for any readers。 I highly recommend reading this boxset but any book by Erin Johnson。 You will not regret it at all， love everything she writes。

I loved this series and the magical journey that each book took me on。 I laughed， sat on the edge of my seat。 The characters were fantastic and while I read， I felt as though I was there。 A magical witch baker and her funny sarcastic flame，and their friends added twists to each adventure。 All I will add was this series made me want some of the yummy foods and cakes they made。

I so love this series。 I read it as the books came out so to be able to get all 10 books at such a good price is a great deal。 I highly recommend the series。 The story is great and the characters become like friends and I always enjoying reading about them。

I’ve few books I feel are worth re-reading but these definitely are！ In fact I’m planning to revisit them all again for the 3rd time in the near future。 Better then a sitcom but made me cry a few times too。 Erin does such a good job writing these characters that not only do you feel like you know them but you want to be part of the gang。 Be warned， you will want to visit her subsequent series because these books will leave you wanting to read more…in a good way。
